Bing Wei has been a Palo Alto resident for over 16 years and helped establish the Sister City relationship with Shanghai's Yangpu District in 2018. She served on the Parks and Rec Commission and brings over two decades of social impact experience from roles at companies like Cisco and the Bay Area Council.
Selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar in 2016, she founded The Word International Inc., a consulting firm supporting Asian startup CEOs. Wei is an active advocate for the Asian American community and first-generation immigrants, earning recognition as Immigrant Leader of the Month by the Bush Center in June 2021.
Her educational credentials include Harvard Business School Executive Education (2022) and a BA Honors in English and Media from the University of Sussex, where she serves on the Advisory Board as a London Chartered Institute of Marketing Fellow. She enjoys hiking, yoga, and creative writing in Palo Alto's parks.
