Candace Gunther recently relocated to the Palo Alto area in early 2025 after spending four decades in Pasadena, California. She holds a BS in Statistics from UC Riverside and has maintained a diverse professional background spanning programming, systems design, and management consulting for manufacturing and commercial real estate sectors.

For 25 years, she owned and operated an antiques and art business. She transitioned into real estate in 2007 with Sotheby's, where she met her husband Roland Wilhelm. The couple has collaborated in real estate for 18 years and currently works with Compass in Woodside.

Gunther relocated to be closer to family, including her son Matthew (a Stanford psychiatrist) and son-in-law Charles Cloughly (consulting firm owner). She volunteers with Neighbors Abroad, finding special meaning in her Co-VP role for Albi given her French maternal heritage.
