Jennifer has resided in Palo Alto for 40 years. She earned a history degree from UC Berkeley and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Democratic Republic of Congo for three years. She worked as a registered nurse specializing in internal medicine and later as a school nurse for Palo Alto Unified School District until her 2022 retirement. Her interests include world affairs, travel, the environment, cooking and gardening. She has hosted three international high school students during summer stays.
