Neighbors Abroad runs a variety of programs that strengthen ties between Palo Alto and our sister cities around the world. From cultural exchanges to environmental sustainability, these projects embody our mission of building international friendships and understanding.
- Calenda — A colorful Oaxacan street celebration featuring dancing, music, and community spirit on California Avenue.
- Climate Offsets and Network — A groundbreaking carbon offset program between Palo Alto and Oaxaca’s forests.
- Student Exchanges — Reciprocal exchange programs with Oaxaca, Tsuchiura, and Albi.
- Palo Alto/Enschede Photo Project — “Camera Collaborations” between Fotoclub de Zoeker and the Palo Alto Camera Club.
